I truly can’t wrap my head around the fact that I have less than two weeks until me and my teams launch. Time has absolutely flown by! Throughout my time preparing, fundraising, praying, and listening to the Lords voice, a couple things have been on my mind. I’ll share one of them with you here today.
It is wild to me how I am here. If you would have told me even 6 months ago that I would be going on a three month mission trip to Europe I would have told you that you were crazy. The fact that God led me to the World Race was a miracle on its own. I’ve transformed from straying in my relationship with the Lord (whatever was left of it) to walking with him and hearing His voice over my life daily.
Let my story be a testimony to the Lords works, whatever you think you need GOD HAS BETTER PLANS. The path I used to “need” for my life would have clearly led to many destructions. It would have brought me farther from God, family, and the man He is forming me to be. Every time I look back, the gratitude that I feel cannot be put into words!
Proverbs 16:9 “The heart of a man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.”
I sure have a lot of growing to do in my walk, but I am so glad to be here where the Lord wants me rather than where I want me. As we come so close to the launch date, I get exponentially more excited to use what gifts the Lord has given me to be the hands and feet of the kingdom. I am so grateful for everyone who has gotten me to this point! Whether that be financially, or through prayer, I would not be here without any of you. Please keep praying as I get closer and closer to my launch date of August 29th!
